Mark Russell-Hill FIPPA,Cr.,FMPA.
Mark turned professional in 1999 when he won the coveted title of, ”Kodak Gold Portrait Photographer of the Year” for UK & Ireland. It was the Oscars for professional photographers and he was the youngest photographer in Ireland and the UK ever to win it.
“I wasn’t allowed to be a student any longer although we’re always still learning,” he says. Before that he studied Commercial Photography, worked in a Pro Lab developing film and then worked in Marketing and had various other adventures before returning back to the magic of image making, “No two days are the same in this industry, you could be shooting fashion or on top of a crane on a building site one day and the following day you could be shooting an album cover, a corporate portrait or a product. I love the variety this work gives me and you never know where it will take you.”
Mark’s work has been published globally and clients tend to use him again and again for his professional rapport, easy going and amicable personality and incredible, creative work.
When he’s not working 20 hour days Mark likes to get on his bike and take to the mountains to stay fit and be with the elements. If he’s not cycling he’s often drinking good coffee with like minded individuals or planning the next adventure of a lifetime. Stay tuned!
